Where the figures come from
- Application fees: the Home Office immigration and nationality fees table in force from 8 October 2026.
- Health surcharge: £1,035 a year, or £776 for students, their dependants and under-18s, with the part-year rules on GOV.UK.
- Continuous residence: rule CR 3.1 of Appendix Continuous Residence (more than 180 days outside the UK in any 12-month period) and the UKVI caseworker guidance.
The fee table is usually replaced around April each year. Each page shows the date it was last checked against GOV.UK.
